Advanced Federal Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Advanced Federal Services Corporation (Advanced Federal) of Madison, Alabama has received ISO 9001:2008 certification (registration # 74 300 3298) effective 29 Jan 2010. The certification assures compliance with standards for a quality management system as established by the International Organization for Standardization, commonly referred to as “ISO.” The certification was authorized by TÜVRheinland®, a premier global provider of independent testing and certification services with 15 locations throughout North America.
ISO 9001:2008 provides a set of requirements that must be in place to have a quality management system, regardless of the organization’s size, product or service line, or public or private status. Certification to the standard is voluntary, and organizations must complete a rigorous auditing process by a third-party registrar. Advanced Federal has been certified as a provider of Government and commercial contract services in Facilities Operations and Maintenance, Logistics, and Administrative Support Services both nationally and internationally.
