Fort Lee
In July 2007, GENCO Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (GENCO) and Advanced Federal teamed up to win a $63M, five-year contract to provide Base Operations Support Services (BOSS) for the Directorate of Public Works and Logistics (DPWL) at Fort Lee, Virginia.
Fort Lee is situated on 5,500 acres near Petersburg and has a combined 7,200 military and civilian population. It is the home not only of the Army’s Culinary School but also of the Army Combined Arms Support Command, which is responsible for the development and evaluation of combat service support and logistics concepts, doctrine, and planning for the Army.
As the primary subcontractor to GENCO, Advanced Federal performs the installation-wide Public Works functions of the contract. We are responsible for:
- Work Control
- Construction planning & estimating
- Building & Structures
- Utility Systems
- HVAC Systems
- Dining & Laundry Facility Equipment
- Grounds Maintenance
- Surfaced Area Maintenance
GENCO manages all prime contract administration and performs supply operations, transportation and maintenance on tactical and non-tactical vehicles and equipment.
After a 60-day transition, Advanced Federal officially began work on this contract on October 1st, thus expanding our operations to six states. We have ~ 60 employees on this contract.
