Testimonials
"As a customer, we are always quick to let a company know when an employee is not doing their job. I would like to take this opportunity to say job well done to William Kitchens. William has consistently shown a willingness to help when delivering our orders and making sure they are stored in a secure place. I am mainly referring to our large paper orders. We put in large quantities of boxed paper orders. He always offers to assist with putting the boxes of paper in the area where it is normally stored.
He has the right attitude when it comes to dealing with the public. You could not have chosen a better person for the job. He always delivers our orders with a smile and a smile goes a long way with me. I do not think I have ever seen him come on our floor and not have a smile. He always goes that extra mile when it comes to delivering our orders. It is the little things that I notice about his service. It is truly a pleasure to work (with) William. He always service COTPER with a smile. So I want to say kudos to William and continue to do a great job."

On 25 April 2008, two pallets of supplies were received at the warehouse for shipment to Kenya... "During the inventory process prior to preparing the pallets for shipment, Gerald Harris became aware of liquid being present in some of the boxes. It became evident that this liquid was corrosive and that hazardous material was involved.
We were not aware of the hazardous material in the shipment until Gerald performed a thorough inspection and found it. By performing this thorough inspection and bringing his findings to my attention, the inappropriate shipment of hazardous materials was prevented. This also eliminated the disastrous results that might have ensued had the package been shipped without being properly packed and documented.
Gerald Harris is to be commended for his dedication to the responsibility he has in preparing international shipments for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."
- This was a note of commendation to Advanced Federal from Mr. Steve Smith, Transportation Assistant, Centers for Disease Control, Atlanta, GA, regarding the exemplary efforts of Shipping/Receiving Clerk Gerald Harris.
"I was told by Kevin Nestor that you could ensure that my thanks are relayed to the appropriate individuals. I am the Chief of the Advance Petroleum and Water Division, Building 11430B. As you may be aware, my building had a failure of our HVAC units which quickly raised the temperature within both my administrative offices and my classrooms. I and my entire staff want to extend our thanks to the crews who worked so hard to repair the air handler that supports my building. The crew from the welding shop and the HVAC maintenance shop worked the issue and did not leave until the air handler repair was completed. I salute their work ethics and their desire to meet the mission.
Unfortunately, I do not have the individuals names; however, I am hoping you will have knowledge of who I am referring. Again, please let them know that we at Advance Petroleum and Water Division are extremely thankful."
- This was a note of appreciation from Mr. Rob Lias, Chief, Advanced Petroleum & Water Division , U.S. Army Quartermaster Center & School , Fort Lee, Virginia, regarding the superb response our maintenance crews provided to restore critical air conditioning during a recent severe heat wave.
"I appreciate your help and expertise on mail issues and everyone's patience on these [building to building] moves at Chamblee. I cannot tell [you] how vital Dave Thomas' professional and logistical guidance has been in making the relocation of over 1,000 employees possible. I am fortunate Dave was there with the support of his staff and management! You are fortunate to have him on your team!"

"I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your company for a job well done. Recently I called the help desk with several service order calls and I was very pleased with the response time and quality of work. When the service order was placed, I was asked for my contact number, I was called by the contractor to let me know they were onsite. In addition, I was called when the job was complete. Kudo's to the Electrical Shop."

"I would especially like to thank the housekeeping and grounds maintenance staffs for their good work, as well. Every day when I come to work, I enjoy a clean building, well-groomed lawns, and maintained and clean offices and work spaces. This only happens when those folks who work behind the scenes cleaning, straightening, repairing, cutting and edging and such are performing well. We at the CDP are fortunate to have a dedicated staff in housekeeping and grounds maintenance. I know I speak for all the CDP family when I say thanks."

I would like to bring your attention to a great job by the ERDC shipping and logistics team here at Vicksburg and at Hanover. We recently shipped a great number of packages to Kuwait for transport into Iraq for ongoing work by the Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL). The effort by the folks involved was truly spectacular and was above and beyond the call of duty. I would like to acknowledge the hard work by both GOVT and contract personnel. The GOVT folks involved included Ms. Vivian Johnson, Ms. Joni Quimby, Mr.RonBuck, and Ms. Rachel Cook. Contract folks from Advanced Federal Services included Mr. Miquel Garcia, Ms. Evelyn Hall, and Mr. Davon Mims. These folks worked long hours to ship the equipment and they had to haul some of these packages to other locations to meet shipping schedules. The GSL team very much appreciates the hard work by everyone involved, and wants to extend a personal thanks to everyone for getting the equipment overseas and into the hands of the GSL team. Thanks a million for an outstanding effort.
